About Me
Hi, I'm glad you're here!
My name's Maria, and I am a senior majoring in product design and minoring in entrepreneurship and biology at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. I am passionate about design and always strive to learn more. Throughout my time in college so far, I have learned how to research, prototype, iterate, make look-like and work-like models, and communicate my designs. I am so excited to continue growing my skillset and exploring the impact I can make in design.
When I am not designing, you'll most likely find me outside. I love all things hiking, camping, skiing, and just about anything outside you can think of. I've spent the last two summers out in Colorado working as a camp counselor, and now I am a trip guide through the U of M's outdoor program. On another note, I love to sew. Below is a picture of one of the dresses I made for a sustainable collection of non-fabric formal wear. My final, and go-to, fun fact is that I can unicycle -- thanks to being in the circus for seven years.
